London Swimming
London Swimming Competitions are at Regional level and incorporate Middlesex, Essex, Surrey and Kent counties.
There are different types of London Swimming Region events as follows:
Youth Championships
Qualification times are required for each event.
Swimmers must have achieved the entry consideration qualifying time at an event licensed at levels 1, 2 or 3 by the ASA or WASA.
The age categories are:
Girls 14/15 and 16/17 yearsBoys 15/16 and 17/18 years
There are multi-disability qualification times for these championships.
Age Group Championships
Qualification times are required for each event.
All times are to be converted by use of the ASA Equivalent Performance tables.
The age categories are:
Girls 10, 11, 12, and 13Boys 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14
800/1500 m Long Course Championships (50m pool)
Qualification times are required for each event.
The age categories are:
Girls 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16+Boys 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17+
